"Nepal is a very beautiful country and its scenic nature attracts the people from around the globe" said 69-year-old mountain lover Park Chang Seo.
So far, Park has visited Nepal five times to fulfill his dream of trekking in the high mountains. .
This time too he led a 15-member-team, most of them in their sixties, who have retired from their jobs.
This time they trekked from Beshi Sahar up to Manang crossing the 5416 metre high Thorung Pass, Muktinath and finally ended the trek at Beni.
The members of the Geoin (Giant) Alipine Club of (South) Korea went around various trekking places this time.
Most of them were first time visitors to Nepal.
They were very impressed by Nepal's natural and heart throbbing hinterlands and the amicable and hospitable behaviour of the people.
"If peace and political stability is restored Nepal will become one of the most important and exciting destinations of the world,? they said.
"I have been to many countries around the world, but Nepal has attracted me a lot. Thus, I have been visiting Nepal every year and will try to come again with my friends in the days ahead,? said Park.
The Annapurna circuit, which is popularly known among trekkers as ABC is an amazing place, which might not be found in any other part of the world, Park said.
When we reached the Annapurna Valley we saw snow-covered mountain, fresh and green forest, attractive natural settings and some that also looked like a desert, he said.
He said one of his friends, a floriculturist was aghast to see such a diverse species of flowers in the mountains.
"Our trip to Nepal take care by Ne-Ko Treks will always remain in our memories. We will promote Nepal in Korea", said the team members.
He said that all the team members were overly concerned about the mountain environment and hence collected the garbage along the trekking routes. ?We burnt the garbage after arriving in Pokhara,? he said. The club established in 1976 has over 500 members.
Most of them have been inspiring their younger peers to visit Nepal at least once in their lifetime, said Park who left home Monday with his team members.
