Appa broke his own record

Appa Sherpa, 43, sirdar of "Dream Everest Expedition 2004" broke his own record by climbing Mt. Everest 14th times on May 17, 2004 at 5.45 am. He has been keeping this record for last few years. Earlier, he broke the record of Ang Rita Sherpa when he climbed Everest 10th times. He climbed Everest for the first time in 1989 with Peter Hillary, son of Sir Edmund Hillary, first man to ascend Everest in 1953.
