The familiarisation tour was organized by Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN) to explore new potential areas for tourism promotion. The team made an on-the-spot observation and study of various touristically important villages during the tour, which was supported by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
The familiarisation trip was organized in line with the objective of TAAN to explore and promote new trekking areas and routes.
The team passed through Bhagawatitar, Gahatebensi, Nagidhar and Pakhrikot of Kaski district and Pasgaon, Bhujung, Ghanapokhara, Ghalegaon, Khudi and Besisahar of Lamjung district. Lying at different altitudes, the areas are very important from the point of view of tourism.
